What is Private Key?

There are many mechanisms in cryptography and public-private key encryption system is one of them. Public keys could be known to infinite others but private keys are known only to the owner. This encryption system accomplishes both authentication and encryption.

As mentioned above, private key should be known only to yourself and your account address is derived from your public key.
